After giving up baseball, Hall of Famer Sammy Baugh was a quarterback, defensive back, and punter in the NFL playing for the Washington Redskins from 1937-1952. Setting 13 records before he retired, Baugh was the league’s passing leader six times and NFL Player of the Year twice. He was elected into the Pro Football Hall of Fame in 1963. He passed away in 2008 at the age of 94.
