Sammy Baugh personally hand signed these Hall of Fame Induction Day 8x10 photos. Each autographed photo includes authentication from PSA/DNA.
Sammy Baugh, the Washington Redskins' quarterback from 1937-1952, was a member of the Pro Football Hall of Fame's inaugural induction class of 1963. Baugh helped revolutionize the offensive game as a catalyst in making the forward pass a primary offensive weapon. "Slingin Sammy" won a record six NFL passing titles and also led the league in punting in four straight seasons. The 1943 season was a particularly memorable one for the versatile Baugh, as he led the NFL in passing, pass interceptions and punting. A two-time All-American at TCU, Baugh truly made ground-breaking strides during his career that helped mold the game into what it is today. Baugh passed away in 2008 at the age of 94.
