Jimmie Foxx, "Double X", played 20 seasons in the Major’s for the Athletics, Red Sox, Cubs, and Phillies. The 9-time All-Star hit 30 or more home runs in 12 consecutive seasons, driving in more than 100 runs in 13 consecutive years. He became only the 2nd member (after Babe Ruth) of the now famous 500 Home Run Club. His 3 career MVP awards is 2nd all time. Foxx was enshrined into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1951. Passing in 1967, at the young age of only 59, collectors have been chasing his single-signed baseballs mostly to no avail.
