Gil Brandt served as the Vice President of Player Personnel for the Dallas Cowboys from 1960 to 1988, and many of his scouting techniques are still used by NFL teams today. His scouting success helped build a team that led the Cowboys to become 2-time Super Bowl Champions with MVP Roger Staubach and co-MVPs Randy White and Harvey Martin. He was announced as a member of the Cowboys Ring of Honor in 2018, and he was enshrined into the Football Hall of Fame in 2019. Brandt passed away in August 2023 at the age of 91.
