Duke Snider Autographed Vintage Bat Inscribed The Duke of Flatbush

Duke Snider, the Brooklyn Dodgers’ premier hitter in their potent lineups of the 1950s, hit 40 or more home runs in five consecutive seasons and led all hitters in total home runs and total RBI during the decade of the 1950s. “The Duke of Flatbush” hit four home runs in two different World Series and had a total of 11 World Series home runs and 26 Series RBI during his incredible career. Snider, Willie Mays and Mickey Mantle were often closely associated as the top center fielders of their generation. Along with 407 home runs, Snider drove in 1,333 runs during his career, which spanned from 1947-1964. Inducted into the Baseball Hall of Fame in 1980, baseball lost one of its greats when Snider passed away in February 2012 at the age of 84. This vintage bat has been hand signed and inscribed "The Duke of Flatbush" by Duke Snider. The autograph includes authentication from PSA/DNA.
