Al “Scoop” Oliver is a former power-hitting outfielder and first baseman who spent the majority of his career with the Pittsburgh Pirates. Part of the self-proclaimed “Lumber Company”, Oliver played alongside greats such as Willie Stargell and Roberto Clemente. A 7x All-Star and 3x Silver Slugger, he helped lead the Pirates to a 1971 World Series Championship defeating the Baltimore Orioles.
